Before you order Starlink in Alicante
Choosing internet for a rural home takes more than comparing advertised speeds. Antenna placement, everyday use, total cost and WiFi coverage inside the property all matter. This guide helps you work through those decisions before ordering.

First, identify where the connection fails
Two nearby properties in inland Alicante can have different options because of access, terrain or layout. A town name alone is not enough to recommend a connection: assess the individual address and its surroundings.
You rely on 4G or 5G
Test the connection at the times you actually use it. Note outages and tasks that fail. This is more useful for a decision than a single speed test early in the morning.
There is no reliable terrestrial option
Satellite is an option to assess. Before buying, check availability at the address and a suitable equipment location. A large plot does not mean every corner is a good antenna position.
How the connection reaches your devices
The antenna communicates with satellites and the router shares that connection with your devices. Internet access and your home network are separate parts of the journey. Improving the first does not necessarily solve thick walls, several floors or a distant outbuilding. If you work in a particular room, consider how the network will reach that room too.
Residential or Roam: choose around your use
This is a guide to the personal plan families, not a quote or a recommendation to buy a particular plan. Starlink confirms the available offer for the service address and country.

- Position and permissionUse Starlink's tools to check possible obstructions. If you rent or share a roof, clarify permissions first. Do not climb onto a roof to check the location yourself.
- Route to the routerConsider where you need the connection and the possible cable route. Note approximate distances and obstacles to discuss with the installation provider. Do not assume a special route is included.
- Everyday useCount people, simultaneous video calls and work areas. In a multi-storey home, distinguish an internet limitation from a room with no WiFi coverage.
- Total costCompare the equipment purchase or loan terms shown in the order, delivery, subscription, accessories, installation and potential extras. A credited service month does not make those other items free.
- ContinuityIf an outage stops you working, consider a backup connection and equipment power. Do not base a critical service solely on an advertised maximum speed.

Installation in Spain: contact SBPM directly
IBITIC does not accept direct quotes, bookings or payments for private Starlink installations. To request installation in Spain, contact SBPM through the channel listed by Starlink. The form starts an enquiry; it does not automatically confirm an appointment. SBPM arranges scheduling and charges separately from the equipment order.
Have your town, order status and a description of the property ready. Before agreeing, ask the provider to confirm scope, materials, possible extras, availability and service terms. Do not assume all roof work, special cabling or warranties are included.

Can I order Starlink and its installation from IBITIC?
No. You buy equipment and subscribe to internet with Starlink. We direct installation enquiries in Spain to SBPM. IBITIC can handle a separate enquiry about WiFi or indoor network improvements.
Can I get the free month if I already have Starlink?
The offer described is for eligible new customers. It is not presented as a discount for an existing account or transferred equipment.
Will Starlink fix WiFi throughout my home?
Not necessarily. If the connection fails only in distant rooms, check indoor coverage and cabling before changing internet access. The number of floors and wall materials matter.
Which plan should I choose for a holiday home?
Start with your usage: dates, fixed location or travel, and data needs. Compare the terms Starlink offers for that use. Do not assume a plan can be paused or moved without conditions.
Is installation included in the free month?
No. The stated benefit covers a service month. The SBPM enquiry, installation and any extras are handled separately.
Does IBITIC guarantee speed, coverage or the referral benefit?
